Let’s face it. It’s been a long, cold and snowy winter in New Brighton. It’s time to look forward to warmer days and summer fun. Over the next 2 weeks, we’ll highlight some of the amazing summer activities that the City of New Brighton has in store. Check back every Monday for a new installment in the Spring Meltdown Series and get the most out of your summer in New Brighton.
Nothing says summer like fresh produce from the Famers Market. We are excited to announce that the New Brighton Farmers Market has a new home at the New Brighton Community Center!
Four New Brighton women with sponsorship from the United Theological Seminary started the New Brighton Farmers Market in 2016. This year the farmers market is moving locations to the New Brighton Community Center in a new partnership with the City of New Brighton Park and Recreation Department.
The New Brighton Farmers Market has become a family favorite destination over the past 3 summer’s with a variety of local fresh foods, live music, food trucks, themed weeks and a crowd favorite: our hula hooper Janessa. Whether it’s just to grab groceries for the week, a handmade gift item, or meet your friends and neighbors for dinner, our market is sure to be the summer hotspot!
Join us at the market this summer on Wednesdays from 3pm-7pm from June 19th-October 2nd. Farmers Market questions can be sent to Angela Fredrickson at email@example.com
