New Brighton Parks & Recreation to Host Sensory Friendly Event at Eagles Nest

Does your child or someone you are close to, have a child that has challenges with traditional playground settings? How about large crowds? New Brighton Parks & Recreation understands that not all children can attend the Eagles Nest during normal business time frames. That is why we have partnered with the Minnesota Autism Society to create a series of Sensory Friendly events at the very popular Eagles Nest Indoor Playground, located at the New Brighton Community Center (400 10th Street NW).

There will be a limited number of admissions sold at a reduced rate for each session. Each session is from 5:30-7:30 pm. Attendees can guarantee admission by pre-purchasing admission for their children on the City’s website. Dates and links to purchase tickets are listed below.

The Parks & Recreation Department will have additional staff on site to assist with accommodation requests, as well as a quiet space for those who need a break during the event.

May 19, 5:30-7:30 pm

September 22, 5:30-7:30 pm

Questions about the event can be directed to Lori at 651-638-2124
