Eagles Nest Indoor Playground Hours

Every Meal- Free Food Bags

The New Brighton Community Center is proud to partner with Every Meal to provide FREE meal bags full of 4-5 pounds of nutritious, non-perishable food including a variety of fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains, and entrees.

Meal bags are free for all families. There are no qualification requirements and no contact information will be collected. Simply pick up a bag in the front entry of the New Brighton Community Center during open hours while supplies last. Learn more at www.everymeal.org/winter.

Fitness Center Memberships

Membership Rates

All memberships are offered on a month-to-month basis and are obligated for a minimum of 90 days from the enrollment start date. There will be a $30 administration fee for all new memberships.

Resident

Anyone who lives or works in New Brighton (must show proper verification).

Non-resident/ Standard

We welcome residents from other communities to become members.

*All memberships include tax

Adult (18+)

  • Resident Monthly:  $28
  • Standard Monthly:  $39

Senior (62+)

  • Resident Monthly:  $20
  • Standard Monthly:  $22

Dual

Any two adults or one adult and one youth who reside at the same address.

  • Resident Monthly:  $41
  • Standard Monthly:  $49

Youth

Any child ages 1-12 can access the Eagles Nest Indoor Playground and the gymnasium.  Youth ages 12-17 may access the fitness center pending a youth orientation prior to membership admittance.

Family

The New Brighton Community Center defines family as up to two adults and four of their dependent children living in the same household (must show proper verification). Each additional child will be $10 per month.

Health Wave

Membership includes access to the fitness center, gymnasium, Eagles Nest Indoor Playground and most group fitness classes (Pre-registration is required.)

Fitness center members who qualify for an insurance benefit must fill out an eligibility and member agreement form.
Participants are responsible to track their progress and make arrangements to fit in their work out times during building closures.
The discount program allows you to redeem a credit of up to $20 per month.

Gymnasium/Open Gym

Please view the current gymnasium schedule below. The gym is available for open gym use during our open hours when not reserved by another group. The schedule is subject to change. Please call the front desk for the most up to date information on Open Gym Hours (651) 638-2130

Expectations are clearly posted in the gymnasium. No food or beverages are allowed in the gymnasium. Respectful communication and behavior is required at all times. Those choosing not to follow the gymnasium expectations will be asked to leave the facility and are not eligible for a refund.  

Open Pickleball

New Brighton Community Center offers open pickleball in the gymnasium. Participants will be required to check-in at Guest Services and are asked to submit their $4 payment before entering the gym. Participants should bring their own paddle. Balls and nets will be provided. 

Pickleball will be canceled on February 17th, 2022 to install IT equipment into the Gym.

Winter/Spring 2022 Schedule (January 1- May 31)

Tuesdays 11:00 am-2:00 pm 
Thursdays 11:00 am-2:00 pm 
Fridays 12:00 pm-3:00 pm

Join us at Highview Middle School Thursdays, February 17 – March 31 (no March 17) from 6pm-8pm in the north/south gym. 

Entry fee is $5 per session. Participants have the option to pay $5 cash only (please bring small bills) to on-site staff upon arrival, or can pre-register for each session online here: https://secure.rec1.com/MN/new-brighton-mn/catalog. No refunds available. 
Participants should bring their own paddle. Nets and balls will be provided. Participants are required to wear a mask when entering and exiting Highview Middle School.

Group Fitness Classes

  • Team members equipped with disinfectant spray bottles and towels for regular cleaning of all high-touch surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectant.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting processes in the fitness center and studio each evening.
  • Hand sanitizing and cleaning stations throughout the fitness center and studio that provide disinfecting products for members to apply before and after using the equipment.
  • With everyone’s health and safety in mind, please stay home if you’re feeling ill. (Fever, coughing, cold-like symptoms)

Meet Our Personal Trainer:


Kristie Walker is a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist with a Master’s degree in Health Promotion, a B.S. degree in Kinesiology, and is the former Director of Education and Training for a national fitness certification company. Her certifications include ACSM and ACE Personal Trainer, ACE Group Exercise, Yogafit 200 hour yoga instructor, Balanced Body 102-hour Mat Pilates instructor, SilverSneakers, Silver & Fit, Tai Chi, Barre, Suspension Training, as well as she is a Functional Aging Specialist. Her passion is empowering participants to prevent/alleviate pain and improve quality of life by learning to move better.

Located in the New Brighton Community Center this library features new books and bestsellers as well as popular DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and magazines. Library computers located in the Community Center offer internet access outside of library open hours.
