New Brighton Parks and Recreation’s 1ST Tail-Waggin’ Event!

Sunday, October 10 | 1-4pm |Hansen Park: 1555 5th St. NW New Brighton, MN 55112

Dog owners, dog sitters, dog walkers, and dog lovers- mark your calendar for New Brighton Parks and Recreation's very first barkin' awesome and furrtastic dog event: Tails on the Trails!

Take your pup for a walk on the trails of Hansen Park while you visit company and rescue booths, see special dog-related demonstrations (including a visit from Mounds View Police Department’s K9 Unit!) and let your leashed pup socialize with other neighborhood friends. Strike a pose with your pup in our photo booth, stretch it out with your pup in a free drop-in “doga” (dog yoga) workout, and enter your doggo into one of our dog-related competitions, including "dog & owner look-alike", "oldest and youngest dog", and "fastest tail." There will be door prizes, freebies, a kids’ game and doggy treats galore! Don’t have a dog? We will have a number of wonderful rescue organizations present with dogs who are up for adoption!

This event is free to attend, but participants should bring cash if they want to purchase items from vendors or participate in the photo booth.

Well-behaved, leashed (no more than 6ft) dogs are welcome to attend!

Photo contest: We want to see your pup enjoying the park! Use the hashtag #tailsonthetrailsNB to enter our photo contest for a chance to win a prize and have your photo featured in a City publication.
