The NBCC personal trainer’s specialty is taking time to find out what YOU want out of your health program. These training sessions also include a complimentary body composition and fitness center access. Sessions are available by appointment only, call the trainer directly for appointments. Call Guest Services at 651-638-2130 for fit tip demonstration times or general information . Pre-payment is required for personal training services.

Training Programs

Basic Fitness Orientation - $49 per person 1 hour

Learn proper fitness equipment techniques for a safe and effective workout appropriate for your goals.

Youth Fitness Orientation - FREE

For those ages 12-17 who want to take advantage of the Fitness Center’s track, cardio equipment, weight training machines and free weight area. The New Brighton Community Center requires you to take a one hour Youth Fitness Orientation for your health and safety before activating your fitness center access. This is a great opportunity to learn goal setting, cardio workouts, proper set up and form for safety in strength training. After the orientation is complete, you will have permission to use the workout equipment explained in the orientation including a brief introduction to free weight training, and leg press. Once completed, the trainer will alert Guest Services to grant membership access, indicated with a special wristband.

Body Composition - $31 per person .5 hour

A body composition refers to the relative amount of body fat, lean weight and inches.  This is a fabulous motivator and health maintenance tool.

Refresher Fitness Orientation - $39 per person 1 hour

Review your fitness orientation plan and equipment techniques to get you back on track for a six pack. Youth or adults can take advantage of this refresher course to remind, renew or just use the tools from a past orientation.

Group Orientation - $20 per person 1 hour

Youth or adults sign up with our trainers for a time that meets your schedule and you will be placed in groups with a Min. 2 Max. 5. No refunds or make up times allowed for missed sessions. Take advantage of a low rate and a supportive team atmosphere to learn goal setting, nutrition tips, cardio and strength machine set up, adjustments and complete a personal workout tracking card.

Meet Our Trainers

Bridget Hultman

Bridget Hultman is a nationally Certified Personal Trainer though the American Council on Education (ACE). She has been training clients since 2017. Being a mom to two young girls she knows how hard it is to find time for yourself and fitness. Her focus is short duration, high intensity workouts. Her goal is to integrate many different types of exercises as well as different equipment to keep routines exciting and to achieve maximum results in minimal time. Bridget has a true passion for fitness and enjoys working with all ages and fitness levels. She enjoys watching clients gain strength and achieve their goals.

Pre-registration is required, sessions are available by appointment only.

Adam Ekstrom

NASM Personal Trainer

“All it takes is, all you’ve got”.

Adam is a nationally Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is working towards a Bachelor’s of Science from American Military University and an Associates in Physical Therapist Assistant. He is also certified as High Intensity Interval Trainer (HIIT) and TRX suspension trainer. Adam will use his experience from the United States Marine Corps to make your personal fitness his mission. Adam will listen to your goals, using the SMART method while working with you to develop a program specific to your needs, including: strengthening, cardiovascular conditioning, weight loss, balance, injury prevention and rehabilitation, or regaining daily mobility. He is also experienced in exercise program design for those wanting to join the military, train for strength and/power along with injury prevention and recovery. Adam enjoys training in martial arts and bodybuilding. His personal philosophies are built from a “trifecta”, Physical, Mental and Spiritual fitness are the cornerstones to being the best YOU.
