The New Brighton Community Center is proud to partner with Every Meal to provide FREE meal bags full of 4-5 pounds of nutritious, non-perishable food including a variety of fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains, and entrees.
Meal bags are free for all families. There are no qualification requirements and no contact information will be collected. Simply pick up a bag in the front entry of the New Brighton Community Center during open hours while supplies last. Learn more at www.everymeal.org/winter.
Membership Rates
We offer two payment types for our memberships: annual and month-to-month. Members who choose the month-to-month option are obligated for a minimum of 90 days from the enrollment start date. Annual membership fees are payable at the time of enrollment and are non-transferable, non-refundable. There will be a $30 administration fee on all new memberships.
Resident
Anyone who lives or works in New Brighton (must show proper verification).
Non-resident/ Standard
We welcome residents from other communities to become members.

Any two adults or one adult and one youth who reside at the same address.
Any child ages 1-12 can access the Eagles Nest Indoor Playground and the gymnasium. Youth ages 12-17 may access the fitness center pending a youth orientation prior to membership admittance.
The New Brighton Community Center defines family as up to two adults and four of their dependent children living in the same household (must show proper verification). Memberships will not be processed until proof of dependents based on tax records and living quarters is obtained. Each additional child will be $10 per month.
Membership includes access to the fitness center, gymnasium, Eagles Nest Indoor Playground, Highview Middle School Pool and most group fitness classes. Pre-registration is required.

Expectations are clearly posted in the gymnasium. You must have a wristband to use the gymnasium and no food or beverages are allowed in the gymnasium. Respectful communication and behavior is required at all times. Those choosing not to follow the gymnasium expectations will be asked to leave the facility and are not eligible for a refund. New Brighton Community Center is excited to offer open pickleball again in the gymnasium. Reservations are required in order for our facility to operate under the Governors Executive Order. Signups will be available online on a month-by-month basis. Please click here to view March availability. Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your timeslot. Participants will be required to check-in at Guest Services and are asked to submit their $4 payment at that time. A maximum of 12 participants are allowed in the gym each session. Please social distance when possible, wear a face-covering at all times (including during play), and please don’t forget to bring your own paddle. Balls and nets will be provided.

The New Brighton Fitness Center is now open to members. We know that many of you are still unable to come to see us in person. You can stay fit at home with these fun at-home workouts with some of New Brighton's awesome instructors!

Colleen O’Neil has worked as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for over 20 years. She holds accredited Personal Training certifications through American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and Group Fitness Instructor and specialty certifications for Yoga and Pilates through NETA. Colleen also is a Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher. She earned her Master of Science Degree in Applied Exercise Science through Concordia University Chicago. Colleen has worked in corporate fitness for 12 years, fitness management for 5 years, and is a Presenter for National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA). She is excited to bring her experience and background to the New Brighton Community Center. Her goal is to help clients enhance their health through exercise and education, and by incorporating a variety of exercise formats in personal training and group exercise.
Located in the New Brighton Community Center this library features new books and bestsellers as well as popular DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and magazines. Comfortable seating, toys that support literacy development, weekly children’s storytimes and two monthly book clubs for adults are offered at this newest branch. Library computers located in the Community Center offer internet access outside of library open hours.
In order to maintain a popular browsing collection in our smaller locations, items from the New Brighton and North St. Paul libraries cannot be requested through the online catalog.* If you would like an item held for you that is checked in at one of these libraries, please call the branch. Books will be held for three days, DVDs for one day.
*Large type books, talking books, and book-club-in-a-bag sets can be requested online.
New Brighton Farmers Market is held weekly on Wednesdays 3p-7p at the New Brighton Community Center mid June until the first week in October.
