Event Rentals

If you're looking for a facility to hold a family reunion, baby shower, craft fair, business meeting, wedding or other event, look no further. From Neighborhood Centers in our parks, to different sized rooms in our community center, we have a space that will fit your needs. Community Use groups can book 13 months in advance and all other rentals can be made 12 months in advance. 

The City offers a variety of facilities ideally suited for large or small receptions, events, meetings, and conferences.  New Brighton is centrally located at 35W and I-694 making it easily accessible.

Community Room A/B

This versatile, bright room is a beautiful site for a wedding reception, special event or conference/large meeting.  The room can accommodate seating up to 240 guests, can be split into two spaces, has a spacious dance floor, numerous windows overlooking a landscaped patio, portable bar, staging, sound system, microphones, LCD projector, commercial kitchen, and affordable rental rates!

Neighborhood Centers

The City offers Neighborhood Centers located in area parks providing a relaxed alternative for a meeting or event.  Located at Sunny Square, Totem Pole, Freedom (not available June-August) & Hansen Parks.

  • Warm, inviting centers with fireplaces, carpeting, pine walls and ceilings, many windows and restrooms
  • Perfect for retreats, family reunions, graduation parties, showers and other social events
  • Ideal for informal business meetings and corporate events in relaxed settings
  • Furnished to comfortably accommodate up to 64 people (10 8′ rectangular tables and 64 chairs)
  • Self-catered functions, bring your own food or arrange catered food (no kitchen facilities)
  • Alcohol (beer, wine, champagne) by permit ($50)

Eagles Nest Indoor Playground Birthday Parties

Reserve Online B-Day Party Now!

A room reservation is required to have a birthday party at the Eagles Nest Indoor Playground.  To eliminate confusion, a birthday party is defined as having any of the following items:

  • Gifts
  • Party favors
  • Balloons
  • Cake or cupcakes
  • Decorations or accessories (including tablecloths & paper products)

The lobby tables are not available for drop-in birthday parties. You and your guests are welcome to stay and play, but if you do not have a room reservation the above items listed must remain at home or in your vehicle and not in the New Brighton Community Center.  To find out more visit, www.newbrightonmn.gov/eaglesnest 

Pool Parties and Rentals

Make a splash with your party with exclusive pool time at Highview Middle School pool!  Enjoy floatables, water games, and toys that will make your party unforgettable.

  • Lifeguards are included, but adult supervision is required.
  • Reservations must be made in advance with a $25 non-refundable deposit to secure your reservation.

Athletic Fields

Interested in renting outdoor athletic fields? The City of New Brighton offers a variety of outdoor athletic spaces for program use, rentals and public walk-up usage. These facilities include adult softball fields, youth baseball fields, adult and youth multi-purpose fields (soccer, lacrosse), sand volleyball courts, basketball courts and tennis courts.
