More… The “Change for the Better” program collects “change” to be used for improvements to New Brighton parks, Parks and Recreation program scholarships, or Parks and Recreation program enhancements. Participants in this program authorize the city to round up their quarterly utility bills to the nearest dollar or add a fixed donation amount. By filling out this form, you will authorize the City to round up your quarterly utility bill and contribute to the betterment of the City and its residents. Individuals, families, groups, clubs, or businesses are invited to adopt a park or garden this spring. Volunteers will keep public spaces beautiful while spending time outside. Gardens are adopted for the entirety of the growing season, May – October, for the year and groups are asked to maintain and beautify gardens through weeding, pruning and planting.
