1. Is open pickleball available?

New Brighton Community Center offers open pickleball in the gymnasium. Participants will be required to check in at Guest Services and are asked to submit their $4.50 payment before entering the gym. Participants should bring their own paddle. Balls and nets will be provided.

Winter/Spring 2022 Schedule (January 1 to May 31):

• Tuesdays
  11 am to 2 pm
• Thursdays
  11 am to 2 pm
• Fridays
  Noon to 3 pm

2. Are masks required in the Community Center?

In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updating their guidance on February 25, Ramsey County is now considered to have a low level of community spread. Because of this change, masks will no longer be required in City of New Brighton facilities beginning March 1.

The new recommendations state at all levels, people can wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by personal level of risk. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask.

3. Is Open Gym available?

Open gym is available. Expectations are clearly posted in the gymnasium. No food or beverages are allowed in the gymnasium. Respectful communication and behavior is required at all times. Those choosing not to follow the gymnasium expectations will be asked to leave the facility and are not eligible for a refund.  Please view the current gymnasium schedule. The gym is available for open gym use during our open hours when not reserved by another group.
