Brave the BRRR

Brave the Brrr Logo Brave the Brrr has been such a success despite challenging weather conditions! This is our last weekend and we hope you will come out to support our local vendors and the Bartz Brothers as this event comes to an early end due to unseasonably warm weather.

  • Brrrzaar Extravaganza: This weekend, join us on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm as the Brrrzaar springs to life with delectable food trucks and 13 local artisan vendors. Show your support for these businesses that took a chance on our inaugural community event.
  • Winter Scavenger Hunt for Kiddos: Engage your little ones in a free winter scavenger hunt with the chance to receive an Eagles Nest "Be our Guest" Pass - the perfect way to keep the excitement alive!

  • Extended Gnome Search and Story Walk: Hurry! Our enchanting Gnome Search and Story Walk will be available until Monday morning, offering you one last opportunity to discover all 15 whimsical gnomes hidden throughout the festival grounds.

  • Sparky the Seal's Farewell: While Sparky will no longer be available for photos, seize the chance to chat with Austin and Connor Bartz, the brilliant minds behind the snow sculpture. Learn about the creation process, ask questions, and enjoy the unique experience of "feeding Sparky" by tossing a snowball into his mouth – an activity for the kids that promises endless fun! Don't miss the chance to snag Nightlights and LED lightbulbs generously provided by Xcel Energy (while supplies last).

  • Sparky's Grand Finale: On Sunday afternoon, join us in bidding farewell to Sparky as we embark on the sculpture deconstruction process. This is being done as a safety precaution.

  • Community Gratitude: A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a role in making this festival possible, including Twin Cities Gateway, Adagios Pizza Factory, and a special shoutout to the New Brighton Lions for sponsorship and parking volunteers. The Lions will continue collecting eyeglasses this weekend, so please bring along your old and outdated sunglasses, readers, and prescription glasses to contribute to a worthy cause.
