Data Requests
Government data is presumed to be public unless a state or federal law says that it is not public. You have the right to look at (inspect), free of charge, all public data that we keep. You also have the right to get copies of public data. The Government Data Practices Act allows us to charge for copies. You have the right to look at data, free of charge, before deciding to request copies.
To view agendas for New Brighton City Council and Commission meetings held after January 1, 2019, please visit CTV's website. View the public body you are interested in. Go through the meeting dates and select the agenda you wish to see. Agendas are attached to meeting packets which can be quite large and take a few minutes to load.
To view a meeting agenda for a New Brighton City Council or Commission meeting held prior to January 1, 2019, please complete and submit a Data Request form.
You can view City Council meeting minutes back to 1976 free of charge in our electronic archives online.
To obtain a draft and/or official copies of meeting minutes, please complete and submit a Data Request form.
Please note that, unlike other City records, there is no charge for copies of meeting minutes. They will be released to you free of charge pursuant to Minnesota State Statutes 412.191.

To view archived recordings of New Brighton City Council and Commission meetings held after January 1, 2019, please visit CTV's website. View the public body you are interested in. View through the meeting dates and select the meeting you wish to see. Videos can be quite large and can take a few minutes to load.
Video recordings of meetings older than 1 year are not retained and are destroyed. Meetings minutes are the official record of meeting proceedings and are available on request.
