Our workshops are designed to have adults 55+ gather as a group to learn and discuss various topics in an effort to help aging adults live life well. The speakers and format will vary depending on the topic, but we will always have time for a bit of fun and socializing too. Each of our Education & Enrichment Workshops will be sponsored by the participating company who will also provide a short description for their products or services. Although these programs are free, we would still ask you to register for them so we can plan facilities accordingly.
We are pleased to offer full day trips for adults 55+ in collaboration with the City of Roseville and the St. Anthony Community Services. On these trips, luxury coach transportation is provided as well as an escort for each destination.
Mini Trips are a way for adults 55+ to get out and enjoy a short excursion. If you are interested in participating in local trips that are typically lower in cost and don’t mind riding in a 15 passenger van for transportation, then our mini trips might be for you! A new trip will be offered every few months.

Living The Active Life
We are excited to offer a “Living The Active Life” type of programming for the “active and adventurous” adult. These types of activities are unique and fun to try without having to invest a lot of time or money and cross it off that “bucket list”. We provide the opportunity – you bring the camera!
If you enjoy walking outside, we invite you to become part of the New Brighton Parks and Recreation Hiking Club!
My name is Lesley and I am the Recreation Coordinator for the City of New Brighton. I program for adults/seniors and coordinate all volunteer opportunities for our beautiful city.
